countdown: our wedding is in 52 days! we kinda screwed ourselves over by having this nice wedding. i mean, once you decide you want things to be nicer than the norm, everything has to be that way. we have expensive taste! consequently, all of our savings are going bye-bye. we met w/ our florist yesterday and got an updated cost for everything. the damage almost doubled from our initial estimate done 9 months ago. but then again, that's b/c we upgraded on the tablecloths and also added chair covers w/ sashes. and we also added little arrangements for the cocktail tables... and smthg for the cake stand... and one for the placecard table... whoo. our grand total was definitely more than i'd hoped. and we didn't even get the silver chiavari chairs i wanted! but then again, the gazillion cala lilies we want probably had smthg to do w/ the higher cost. i wonder how much other ppl spend on flowers/linens/chairs? i mean, our florist isn't super expensive. he's definitely not the most expensive that we met w/. but if he's costing us this much, you gotta wonder about those who use super extravagant centerpieces.
